This stakeholder refers to the entire student body of your university that is invited to participate in your OnCampus Program and, therefore, in your Local Competition and events. Remember that your program should be open to everyone, so get creative on spreading the message and getting the entire community excited over your program!

The Eligibility

• The competition is for teams comprised of 2 to 4 students and all team members must be 18 years of age by 2/28/2025.
• Teams may consist of students from different universities but must represent one university. At least one team member must be enrolled at the chosen university. Teams competing in a Local Competition will automatically represent that university. Teams participating through the Open Application must select the university they will represent when registering.
• Startups competing in a Local Competition are only allowed to compete in that Local Competition. Teams attempting to compete in more than one Local Competition will be disqualified.
• Startups competing in a Local Competition are not eligible to compete through the Open Application, and vice versa.
• Participants can only be registered on one team at a time.
• The students do not need to be from the same background or major - the startup can be formed by students from different levels from freshmen to PhD, as long as they are students enrolled in a degree seeking program when registering.
• The competitors need to be registered in their university degree program at the moment of the application or graduated between the period of September 2024 - February 2025, so it can happen that a competitor graduates in the middle of the competition.
• Campus Directors/Organizing Committee Members cannot compete in their own OnCampus Program. This policy ensures impartiality and fairness. However, Campus Directors are encouraged to apply with their team via the Open Application. On the application, they must show they were a Campus Director for the Hult Prize, which will likely be viewed favorably.

The Entrepreneur’s Journey

• The OnCampus Program and the Open Application represent the first phase of the Hult Prize Global Competition. Teams in this phase must either compete through a Local Competition, within an OnCampus Program in their university, or through the Open Application, to move on to the next phase of the competition.
