We have collected your official pitch deck link for your summit stage via the travel confirmation form. Please ensure that your link is open access, which means "Anyone can view using the link". • You will be invited to your WhatsApp Community group Townhall and your designated startup channel for quick communication. You will also be introduced to your startup coordinators who can help you with any pre-arrival information and on the summit days.
• A week before your summit, the team captain will receive the team's summit entry tickets (QR codes) for all members. Their job will be to distribute the individual QR codes to their respective team members attending the summit. Make sure to keep this electronic QR code handy when registering to enter the event. Summits Phase Selection Process

If you receive an invitation to compete in one of our summits, you will be required to submit a new set of competition materials before your travel arrangements can be finalized. During the preliminary round, you will pitch live, and your pitch will be evaluated by judges who form our external selection committee. If selected, your startup will advance to the Summit finals.

The pitch format comprises a 4-minute pitch, followed by a 4-minute Q&A, and a 2-minute feedback session. Evaluations will be based on the Hult Prize Summit scorecard below. The Judging Panel will deliberate to reach a consensus-based final decision and may request any startup answer additional questions through callbacks. For this reason, startups must be available immediately after the pitches end. Winning startups ,that are eligible, will earn an invitation to join our Hult Prize 2024 Global Accelerator, putting them on the path towards the 1,000,000 USD prize

Your Summit Submissions

Your new summit submissions will be shared with the judges as a reference and/or will be used to evaluate your startup in our Second Chance Round which is an online review process, if you qualify.

1. Business Plan (Template)

Your business plan is your company’s roadmap to success. We are asking you to share your team’s plans for your business, the current state of your venture, and where you aim to take it forward. Business plans are critical in any venture, and they take both times to construct and reflect on the critical questions around your business. Please be thoughtful and give your team time and energy in creating your business plan. Topics we will be looking at include the problem, idea, team, prototyping, impact, competitive advantage, and risks/opportunities, amongst others.

2. Pitch Video (Youtube link)

Submit your updated 4-minute pitch video now to pitch live at the Summits. You may reuse your old video or record a new one if you have made changes and progress. Your startup’s pitch video must capture your team explaining your pitch deck and all its key elements using creative storytelling. Your startup’s pitch video must be on YouTube and should be focused on your business. It should touch at a minimum on the following key points expected from the judging criteria at summits phase of the competition. For example, the problem your business is addressing and the proposed business solution. Your intended impact and alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Your co-founding team and skill sets. Business model/ proposed revenue stream(s), progress in finding product/market fit (ie, prototypes, MVPs, etc). Your go-to-market strategy and competitive advantage

As your startup evolves, so does your pitch deck. Update your pitch deck with recent developments that your startup has made over 3 months so the deck remains current and relevant to your business idea.

The Eligibility

• The competition is for teams with 3-5 members.
• All team members should be at least 18 years of age at the moment of registration.
• Each Team will represent their university, thus Participants must be enrolled at the same university. However, Teams have the option to include one single Participant from a different university.
• All students should be registered in the same university's undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree program. This means you must be listed on the Team’s official registration. Any changes to a Team must be in writing, unanimous, and approved by the Hult Prize Foundation at its sole discretion. Participants can only be registered on one Team at a time.
