Internship Program Phases - Startups Team


The Internship program will progress as follows:

1. Onboarding & Training 19 February - 23 February You will step into a transformative learning experience with our agile training tailored exclusively for our interns. Immerse yourself in comprehensive technical training that covers 2024 Eligibility criteria, our platforms, and analysis of startup submissions. This specialised training program will empower you to help the next generation of innovators.
2. Eligibility Check & Selection 23 February - 4 March As an Intern Evaluator:
  1. You will be responsible to review startup submissions by carefully assessing their competition eligibility, submissions accessibility and identifying and tracking resubmissions if necessary.
  2. You will delve into details and analyze Startup business ideas submitted and turn them into informed decisions on whether you would like to recommend them for pitching at the Hult Prize 2024 Summits. | | 2. Application Evaluation | 5 March - 25 March | During the Application Evaluation phase, the Experts will be reviewing startups submissions. As interns, you will assist in operations during the evaluation and help in Startup & Experts team related activities. | | 3. Startups Selection Assisting | 27 March - 1 April | Following the startup submissions assessment by the Judges, the Hult Prize team will initiate internal selections to confirm the startups that will advance to t the 2024 Summits. | | 4**. Confirmation & Summits Travel Support** | 4t April - 30 May | In this period of time prior to the Summits, your work involves reaching out to selected summit startups. Confirm their participation, collect & review Summit Submissions, and gather essential information regarding their travels to the 8 Summit Cities. Your proactive communication ensures a smooth and successful integration of startups into the upcoming Summits. | | 5. Summits Execution | 7 June - 22 June | During the in-person Summits phase, you will work alongside the Startups Team & Experts Team to plan, organize, and execute the Summits. Your assistance is key to creating an engaging and impactful experience for our startups. | | 5. Internship Evaluation & Closing | 23 June | On the final day, we've set aside dedicated one-on-one time to discuss your key learnings and experiences. This session is designed to ensure a comprehensive review before concluding the Internship program. Your insights matter, and we look forward to a meaningful discussion to celebrate your accomplishments and wrap up the internship program. |

Internship Program Phases - Experts Team


The Internship program will progress as follows:

Phase Date(s) Description
1. Onboarding & Training 28 Feb You will experience transformative learning with our agile training tailored exclusively as ER interns. This specialized training to help you prepare for your role and responsibilities in the ER department during the internship period.
2. Application Evaluation 1 March - 22 March You will be helping the Central ER team to get the Open Applications evaluations finished on time. This role includes, communicating with the experts onboarded as evaluators to evaluate the Startup Applications and finish them. You will know which evaluator is assigned to you and whether the applications have been assigned to them or not. We will be keeping weekly tracking of their evaluation progress.
4**. Summits Judges’ Support** 1 April - 23 June During the in-person summit phase, you will work alongside the ER Team to plan, organize, and execute the Summits. Your assistance is key to creating an engaging and impactful experience for our startups.
5. Internship Evaluation & Closing 23 June On the final day, we've set aside dedicated one-on-one time to discuss your key learnings and experiences. This session is designed to ensure a comprehensive review before concluding the Internship program. Your insights matter, and we look forward to a meaningful discussion to celebrate your accomplishments and wrap up the internship program.
