Team Registration & Next Steps
- Campus Directors should register their Local Competition details in the Community Portal as soon as the event date is confirmed.
- All startups must register through our **Competitor Registration Form by February 15th** (this is the same link that open application startups will use to complete their registration). Startups will receive an email with instructions on how to do so after completing their Registration Form.
- Once startups are registered, Campus Directors will be able to view and verify the registrations of startups from their university in the Community Portal. Campus Directors should then invite the registered startups to participate in their Local Competition, sharing the event details as soon as possible.
- After hosting their Local Competition, Campus Directors will report it on their Community Portal within 72 hours after the event takes place. This takes up to 3 minutes. Click here for a step-by-step guide. On this report, Campus Directors will identify the startups who competed, as well as the winner and the 1st and 2nd runners-up.
- After the Local Competition Report is submitted, the Winner, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up will receive an email from the Hult Prize with next steps, including a link to the Accelerator App* for submissions. Startup Winners must submit within 72 hours to advance to the next phase, while submissions from 1st and 2nd runners-up, as well as non-winners, are optional.
